Crafted through slow, traditional fermentation, our black bread shoyu transforms leftover black bread from local restaurants (this batch has Muhu Pagarid bread leftovers from a local restaurant) and Estonian barley inoculated with koji into a deep, complex seasoning. Aged for at least one year, it delivers rich rye bread and caramelized sugar notes.

Use our shoyu as you would soy sauce – to season soups/rice/noodles/vegetables, to marinate meat/fish/tofu, for dipping sashimi/dumplings/sushi.

Each HAPU shoyu is packed in a simple brown kraft box filled with 100% natural wood springs. The springs can be returned to nature, where they nourish the soil.

The order will be shipped within 2-4 days and will arrive during weekdays, according to SmartPosti Eesti/DPD deliveries. Usually 1-2 workdays after the product has been shipped.
